God gave rock and roll to you

"Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee."
~Deuteronomy 16:17

All praise be to my Heavenly Father.
He gives us enough to get through the day.
His mercy endures forever.
My cup runneth over with joy.

Today was very 'enriching' in the experience department.
Had an expatriate matter to attend to... started at 9am and lasted till 4pm.
-sinks head into palms-
God's plans are always perfect.
Everything in His time.
He is the ultimate planner.

Tree planting on Sunday was hot.
I was placed in charge of the transportation.
Daddy came along.
My daddy is my biggest supporter.
He came to the event and helped to plant a tree.
We spent some father-daughter time.
Praise be to God for the time we spent and the good weather!

I've been watching Roch School on OKTO.
SOONG AH~~~
Here is the song I've been hooked onto...
Drum roll please!!!
-drum rolls-

God gave rock and roll to you - Kiss

God gave rock and roll to you, gave rock and roll to you
Put it in the soul of everyone
Do you know what you want? you don't know for sure
You don't feel right, you cant find a cure
And you're gettin less than what you're lookin for
You don't have money or a fancy car
And you're tired of wishin on a falling star
You gotta put your faith in a loud guitar

Chorus:
God gave rock and roll to you, gave rock and roll to you
Gave rock and roll to everyone (oh yeah)
God gave rock and roll to you, gave rock and roll to you
Put it in the soul of everyone
Now listen
If you wanna be a singer, or play guitar
Man, you gotta sweat or you wont get far
Cause its never too late to work nine-to-five
You can take a stand, or you can compromise
You can work real hard or just fantasize
But you don't start livin till you realize - I gotta tell ya!

God gave rock and roll to you, gave rock and roll to you
Gave rock and roll to everyone
God gave rock and roll to you, gave rock and roll to you
Put it in your soul(instrumental break)
God gave rock and roll to you (to everyone he gave the song to be sung)
Gave rock and roll to you, gave rock and roll to everyone
God gave rock and roll to you (to everyone he gave the song to be sung)
Gave rock and roll to you, saved rock and roll for everyone
Saved rock and roll

Chorus repeats out...

I know life sometimes can get tough! and I know life sometimes can be a drag!
But people, we have been given a gift, we have been given a road
And that roads name is... rock and roll!

Its a very catchy song.
-hums the tune-
Wahahaha~
The show's concept is that of Gene Simmons going to a school to turn a bunch of students into rock stars.
The first season was madness with the youngsters from Christ Hospital.
The Emperor ruled the waves with the other students.
Gosh, what an awesome time they had...
GOD GAVE ROCK AND ROLL TO YOU~~~~~~

They doing job rotation again in the office.
Management has decided to move me to another side of the department.
Direct quote from a colleague "So fast?!"
So now, I am in the process of passing everything on to my other colleagues.
A bit sad to let go of my portfolio, because I have grown attached to the expats, but I guess in the long run it would be better for my experience.
Have to look on the bright side...
Yeap, it seems I have been sent back to square one....
Next question would be: how long?

Watched Avenue Q last friday night with Parveen.
It's cool.
It's sucks to be me.
-loud hysterical laughter-
I find myself humming most of the songs in the office.
Especially "It sucks to be me" and "What do you do with a BA in English".
Plenty of laughs to be had... laughing away with my sugar babe at the various NC16 bits... wow... liberation through puppets... wonderful singing as well...
Thanks for sharing the night with me Parv!!!! :D
Here are the lyrics to the second song:

What do you do with a BA in English?
What is my life going to be?
Four years of college and plenty of knowledge
Have earned me this useless degree

I can't pay the bills yet
Cos I have no skills yet
The world seems a big scary place
But some how I can't shake
This feeling I might make
A difference to the Human Race

-continues humming the song...-

Had lunch with Yang Mui, Diana and Shi Min on Saturday.
At Shokudo.
The same place as the last time.
At the same seats with the same food.
Yeap, some things aren't meant to change.
Hahaha...
But it was fantastic to get updated with their lives...
How I miss hanging out with them...
Walked around and sat with super sweet drinks before heading off to the NAFA 3 campus to watch the Japanese Cultural Night production.
Alex, Suzuna and Michelle were involved.
Eye opening experience had with Jamie.
Might try my hand on the Tenko... I think it would be very good stress relief...
-psychotic laughter-

I kinda miss my piano... actually... I do miss my piano...
Miss the pounding on the keys and de-stressing songs...
Feeling the need to praise the Lord with my fingers dancing across the black and whites...
Feel like buying one to put in the house... but the next question would be where to place it.
Plenty of factors to consider if I wanna place a piano in the house... regardless of the size... there is an electricity issue to ponder over as well...
-continues musing-

Krystal,
Jia you!
JIa you!
JIA you!
JIA You!
JIA YOu!
JIA YOU!!!!!!!
-waves pompoms all over the place and gets the whole neighbourhood to join in the waving-

Aight... time to sign off for now...
and remember...
GOD GAVE ROCK AND ROLL TO YA~~~~~

^-^
